Pennsylvania Triple Payout Instant Lottery Game

   Under the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101--3761-314) and 61 Pa. Code § 819.203 (relating to notice of instant game rules), the Secretary of Revenue hereby provides public notice of the rules for the following instant lottery game:

   1.  Name: The name of the game is Pennsylvania Triple Payout.

   2.  Price: The price of a Pennsylvania Triple Payout instant lottery game ticket is $1.

   3.  Play Symbols: Each Pennsylvania Triple Payout instant lottery game ticket features a play area and a ''TRIPLER BONUS'' area. The play area will contain ''LINE 1,'' ''LINE 2,'' ''LINE 3'' and ''LINE 4.'' Each ''LINE'' is played separately. The prize play symbols and their captions located in the play area are: FREE (TICKET), $1.00 (ONE DOL), $2.00 (TWO DOL), $3.00 (THR DOL), $5.00 (FIV DOL), $10.00 (TEN DOL), $20$ (TWENTY), $30$ (THIRTY), $100 (ONE HUN), $300 (THR HUN), $1,000 (ONE THO) and $3,000 (THR THO). The play symbols located in the ''TRIPLER BONUS'' area are: 3X (3TIMES), TRY (AGAIN) and NO (BONUS).

   4.  Prizes: The prizes that can be won in this game are: Free $1 Ticket, $1, $2, $3, $5, $10, $20, $30, $100, $300, $1,000 and $3,000. The player can win up to 4 times on a ticket.

   5.  Approximate Number of Tickets Printed For the Game: Approximately 9,600,000 tickets will be printed for the Pennsylvania Triple Payout instant lottery game.

   6.  Determination of Prize Winners:

   (a)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $3,000 (THR THO) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $3,000.

   (b)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $1,000 (ONE THO) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1,000.

   (c)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $300 (THR HUN) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $300.

   (d)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $100 (ONE HUN) in the same ''LINE,'' and a 3X (3TIMES) play symbol appears in the ''TRIPLER BONUS'' area to the right of that ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $300.

   (e)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $100 (ONE HUN) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.

   (f)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $30$ (THIRTY) in the same ''LINE,'' and a 3X (3TIMES) play symbol appears in the ''TRIPLER BONUS'' area to the right of that ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $90.

   (g)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $30$ (THIRTY) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $30.

   (h)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $10.00 (TEN DOL) in the same ''LINE,'' and a 3X (3TIMES) play symbol appears in the ''TRIPLER BONUS'' area to the right of that ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $30.

   (i)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $20$ (TWENTY) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $20.

   (j)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $5.00 (FIV DOL) in the same ''LINE,'' and a 3X (3TIMES) play symbol appears in the ''TRIPLER BONUS'' area to the right of that ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $15.

   (k)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $10.00 (TEN DOL) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.

   (l)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $3.00 (THR DOL) in the same ''LINE,'' and a 3X (3TIMES) play symbol appears in the ''TRIPLER BONUS'' area to the right of that ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $9.

   (m)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $2.00 (TWO DOL) in the same ''LINE,'' and a 3X (3TIMES) play symbol appears in the ''TRIPLER BONUS'' area to the right of that ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $6.

   (n)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $5.00 (FIV DOL) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5.

   (o)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $3.00 (THR DOL) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $3.

   (p)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $1.00 (ONE DOL) in the same ''LINE,'' and a 3X (3TIMES) play symbol appears in the ''TRIPLER BONUS'' area to the right of that ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $3.

   (q)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $2.00 (TWO DOL) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $2.

   (r)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $1.00 (ONE DOL) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1.

   (s)  Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of FREE (TICKET) in the same ''LINE,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of shall be entitled to a prize of one Pennsylvania Triple Payout instant game ticket or one Pennsylvania Lottery instant game ticket of equivalent sale price which is currently on sale.

3X (3TIMES) in Tripler Bonus = Win triple the prize won for that Line.

Prizes, including top prizes, are subject to availability at the time of purchase.

   8.  Retailer Incentive Awards: The Lottery may conduct a separate Retailer Incentive Game for retailers who sell Pennsylvania Triple Payout instant lottery game tickets. The conduct of the game will be governed by 61 Pa. Code § 819.222 (relating to retailer bonuses and incentives).

   9.  Unclaimed Prize Money: For a period of 1 year from the announced close of Pennsylvania Triple Payout, prize money from winning Pennsylvania Triple Payout instant lottery game tickets will be retained by the Secretary for payment to the persons entitled thereto. If no claim is made within 1 year of the announced close of the Pennsylvania Triple Payout instant lottery game, the right of a ticket holder to claim the prize represented by the ticket, if any, will expire and the prize money will be paid into the State Lottery Fund and used for purposes provided for by statute.

   10.  Governing Law: In purchasing a ticket, the customer agrees to comply with and abide by the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101--3761-314), 61 Pa.  Code Part V (relating to State Lotteries) and the provisions contained in this notice.

   11.  Termination of the Game: The Secretary may announce a termination date, after which no further tickets from this game may be sold. The announcement will be disseminated through media used to advertise or promote Pennsylvania Triple Payout or through normal communications methods.
