[Saturday, September 1, 2007]The State Conservation Commission (SCC) has approved for public comment draft guidance for development of odor management plans, under Chapter 5 of Act 38 of 2005 (3 Pa.C.S. §§ 501--522). The draft Odor Management Guidance was developed for use by agricultural operations that seek approval of odor management plans under regulations implementing Act 38, which are also being published at 37 Pa.B. 4780 (September 1, 2007). Sections 83.771 and 83.781 (relating to managing odors; and identification of odor BMPs) specifically mention this guidance.
