Mining and Reclamation Advisory Board; Special Meeting

[Saturday, October 27, 2007]The Mining and Reclamation Advisory Board (Board) will hold a special meeting on Thursday, November 29, 2007, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Delaware Conference Room on the 16th Floor, Rachel Carson State Office Building, 400 Market Street, Harrisburg, PA. The purpose of the meeting is for the Department of Environmental Protection (Department) to seek advice regarding the remnants of the former Alternate Bonding System in the context of a recent court decision and the Reclamation Fee/Bonding Rulemaking. This special meeting was requested by the Board's Regulation, Legislation and Technical Subcommittee at their meeting held on October 12, 2007.
