Health Research Advisory Committee Meeting

   The Health Research Advisory Committee of the Department of Health will hold a public meeting on December 12, 2008, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The meeting will be held at the Bureau of Health Statistics and Research, Forum Place Building, 555 Walnut Street, 6th Floor, Harrisburg, PA.

   There are two primary aims for the meeting: (1) to review the findings of the 2005 nonformula health research projects, which were designed to reduce health disparities related to obesity; and (2) to recommend the State Fiscal Year 2009-2010 health research priorities for the Commonwealth Universal Research Enhancement Program.

   This meeting is open to the public. No reservations are required. The meeting is not a public hearing and therefore public testimony or comments, or both, are not part of the meeting agenda.
