The Wireless E-911 State Plan

S. § 7021.2 (relating to powers and duties of the agency), the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (Agency) gives notice that the Statewide Wireless E-911 Plan (E-911 Plan) providing for all aspects of the development, implementation, operation and maintenance of a Statewide integrated wireless E-911 system in accordance with the FCC E-911 Order has been amended after adequate public notice and opportunity to comment and after consideration of the recommendations of the wireless subcommittee of the advisory committee.
In accordance with 35 P. S. § 7021.2(b), a notice of the amended Plan was published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin at 39 Pa.B. 2423 (May 9, 2009) as a public notice and provided for a 30 day comment period. The Agency did not receive comments within the allotted comment period and adopted the amended Plan after consideration of the recommendations of the wireless subcommittee of the advisory committee.
