Electronic Processing Prior to Preliminary Arraignment; MD 1751-2010; Administrative Order No. 59

Order And Now, this 15th day of July, 2010, it is hereby ordered and directed that all defendants to be preliminarily arraigned in any Bucks County Magisterial District Court be first processed using Livescan and CPIN technology. Prior to or at the time of the preliminary arraignment, the arresting officer shall provide a copy of the defendant's criminal history to the judge conducting the arraignment.
The foregoing requirement may be waived only in the event of an unusual circumstance, such as a serious medical condition, which would prevent prompt processing.
This Order shall become effective September 1, 2010.
