Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania; Rate Increase Filing for the Non-Group Special Care Hospital Program

 By filing No. 1547-SP-CARE-1/1/11, Blue Cross of Northeastern Pennsylvania is requesting the Insurance Department's (Department) approval to increase the current monthly rates for the Non-Group Special Care Hospital Program by 15% effective January 1, 2011. This increase will impact both Tier 1 and Tier 2 contracts and affect approximately 4,650 members. The requested increase will produce approximately $600,000 in additional annual revenue.

 Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to November 18, 2010, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
