[Saturday, July 9, 2011]On October 28, 2010, Harold N. Thompson, license no. RS125721A, of Glen Mills, Delaware County, had his license revoked based on his engaging in conduct, or advertising, or holding himself out as engaging in or conducting the business or acting in the capacity of a broker or salesperson without first being licensed or registered by the State Real Estate Commission (Commission), making substantial misrepresentations throughout the real estate transaction, pursuing a continued and flagrant course of misrepresentation, failing to promptly on receipt of a deposit or other moneys on any transaction in which he is engaged on behalf of his broker-employer, pay over the deposit to the broker, accepting a commission or any other valuable consideration for the performance of any acts specified in the act, from any person, except the licensed real estate broker with whom he is affiliated, engaging in conduct during a real estate transaction which demonstrates bad faith, dishonesty, untrustworthiness or incompetency, failing to exercise reasonable professional skill and care, violating the regulations of the Commission, which states that a salesperson may assist in property management if the salesperson's work is supervised and controlled by the employing broker, failing to deal honestly and in good faith, failing to ensure that all services are provided in a reasonable, professional and competent manner.

This final order represents the Commission's final decision in this matter. It may be appealed to the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania by the filing of a petition for review with that court in accordance with the Pennsylvania Rules of Appellate Procedure. Individuals who take an appeal to the Commonwealth Court must serve the Commission with a copy of their petition for review. The Commission contact for receiving service of the appeals is the previously-named Commission counsel.
