Special Regulation; Designations and Redesignations

[Saturday, April 28, 2012]The Fish and Boat Commission (Commission) designated or redesignated the following streams, stream sections and lakes as waters subject to 58 Pa. Code Chapter 65 (relating to special fishing regulations), effective upon publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin:
58 Pa. Code § 65.5. Catch and release areas
The Commission historically has regulated and managed Yellow Breeches Creek, Section 03, Cumberland County, from Boiling Springs downstream to the vicinity of Allenberry, as a catch and release area under 58 Pa. Code § 65.5. The Commission extended this catch and release area upstream to include Section 01 of the unnamed tributary to Yellow Breeches Creek, locally known as ''The Run.'' The Run extends 0.17 mile from the outfall of Children's Lake downstream to the mouth (confluence with Yellow Breeches Creek).
58 Pa. Code § 65.19. Approved trout waters open to year-round fishing
The Commission removed Laurel Run, Clearfield County, from its Approved Trout Waters Open to Year-Round Fishing Program managed under 58 Pa. Code § 65.19.
