Code § 51.33 (relating to requests for exceptions), the Department of Health (Department) gives notice that the following facilities have requested an exception to the requirements for compliance with minimum standards contained in the following publication: NFPA 101, 2000 Edition.
The following hospital facility is specifically seeking an exception to 28 Pa. Code § 153.1(c) (relating to minimum standards), section 19.2.3.3 (relating to capacity of means of egress):

Persons who wish to comment on an exception request may do so by sending a letter by mail, e-mail or facsimile to the Division at the address listed previously.
Comments received by the Department within 10 days after the date of publication of this notice will be reviewed by the Department before it decides whether to approve or disapprove the request for exception.
