Requests for Modification or Inclusion of Funding for Public Use Airport Projects in the 2015 Four Year Plan

[Saturday, January 4, 2014]Airport development funding requests submitted by public use airports to the Department of Transportation, Bureau of Aviation (Bureau) for inclusion in the Twelve Year Plan or Four Year Plan will be eligible for consideration if submitted by December 1, 2014.
The Bureau will accept funding requests by public use airports for inclusion in the Twelve Year Plan or Four Year Plan through the close of business on December 1, 2014. Requests must be submitted to the Bureau electronically by means of the Joint Automated Capital Improvement Program database after May 31, 2014, but no later than December 1, 2014. All requests must be submitted by the deadline to be eligible for grant funding consideration.
Each year, under 74 Pa.C.S. §§ 6121 and 6122 (relating to tax on aviation fuels; and allocation of funds) and 67 Pa. Code §§ 473.5a and 473.5b (relating to project selection process and criteria; and important dates and notification procedure), the Bureau will select projects to maintain a balanced Four Year Plan from Twelve Year Plan/Four Year Plan projects on file by the submission deadline.
