Pennsylvania In The Money Instant Lottery Game

[Saturday, March 15, 2014]Under the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314) and 61 Pa. Code § 819.203 (relating to notice of instant game rules), the Secretary of Revenue hereby provides public notice of the rules for the following instant lottery game:
1. Name: The name of the game is Pennsylvania In The Money.
2. Price: The Pennsylvania In The Money instant lottery game ticket is a promotional item and has no sale price.
3. Promotional Game Details: Pennsylvania In The Money instant lottery game tickets will be provided to retailers to use to augment retailer promotions and to other persons for promotional purposes as approved by the Director of the Lottery.
4. Prize Play Symbols: Each Pennsylvania In The Money instant lottery game ticket will contain one play area. The prize play symbols and their captions located in the play area are: $1.00 (ONE DOL), $2.00 (TWO DOL), $3.00 (THR DOL), $5.00 (FIV DOL), $10.00 (TEN DOL), $20.00 (TWENTY), $30.00 (THIRTY), $50.00 (FIFTY) and a STAR (STAR) symbol.
5. Prizes: The prizes that can be won in this game are: $1, $2, $3, $5, $10, $20, $30 and $50. The player can win one time on a ticket.
6. Approximate Number of Tickets Printed For the Game: Approximately 1,920,000 tickets will be printed for the Pennsylvania In The Money instant lottery game.
7. Determination of Prize Winners:
(a) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $50.00 (FIFTY) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50.
(b) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $30.00 (THIRTY) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $30.
(c) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $20.00 (TWENTY) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $20.
(d) Holders of tickets with two matching prize play symbols of $10.00 (TEN DOL) and a Star (STAR) symbol in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $20.
(e) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $10.00 (TEN DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.
(f) Holders of tickets with two matching prize play symbols of $5.00 (FIV DOL) and a Star (STAR) symbol in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.
(g) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $5.00 (FIV DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5.
(h) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $3.00 (THR DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $3.
(i) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $2.00 (TWO DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $2.
(j) Holders of tickets with two matching prize play symbols of $1.00 (ONE DOL) and a Star (STAR) symbol in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $2.
(k) Holders of tickets with three matching prize play symbols of $1.00 (ONE DOL) in the play area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1.
8. Number and Description of Prizes and Approximate Odds: The following table sets forth the approximate number of winners, amounts of prizes, and approximate odds of winning:

Prizes, including top prizes, are subject to availability at the time of purchase.
9. Unclaimed Prize Money: For a period of 1 year from the announced close of Pennsylvania In The Money, prize money from winning Pennsylvania In The Money instant lottery game tickets will be retained by the Secretary for payment to the persons entitled thereto. If no claim is made within 1 year of the announced close of the Pennsylvania In The Money instant lottery game, the right of a ticket holder to claim the prize represented by the ticket, if any, will expire and the prize money will be paid into the State Lottery Fund and used for purposes provided for by statute.
10. Governing Law: In accepting a promotional ticket, the ticket holder agrees to comply with and abide by the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314), 61 Pa. Code Part V (relating to State Lotteries) and the provisions contained in this notice.
11. Termination of the Game: The Secretary may announce a termination date, after which no further tickets from this game will be available. The announcement will be disseminated through media used to advertise or promote Pennsylvania In The Money or through normal communications methods.
