Contemplated Sale of Land No Longer Needed for Transportation Purposes

[Saturday, March 15, 2014]The Department of Transportation (Department), under the Sale of Transportation Lands Act (71 P. S. §§ 1381.1—1381.3), intends to sell certain land owned by the Department.
The following property is available for sale by the Department.
1. Parcel No. 35—City of Pittsburgh, 21st Ward, Allegheny County. The parcel contains approximately 5,091 ± square feet of unimproved land located within the block bound by Page Street, Blake Way and Faulsey Way. The estimated fair market value of the parcel is $9,100.
Interested public entities are invited to express their interest in purchasing the site within 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice to H. Daniel Cessna, PE, District Executive, Department of Transportation, Engineering District 11-0, 45 Thoms Run Road, Bridgeville, PA 15017.
