Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

 The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by April 7, 2014. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.

Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.

A-2013-2390504. Selam Cab, LLC (2627 Northfield Drive, East Petersburg, Lancaster County, PA 17520) for the right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in call and demand service, from points in the Counties of Berks, Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon, Philadelphia and York, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2013-2392748. Flanagan's Car Service, LLC (540 Penn Avenue, Drexel Hill, Delaware County, PA 19026) for the right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties Delaware and Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

A-2013-2397693. Mesfin Ashamte and Negash Hadgu, t/a Brothers Cab (258 Elliot Street, Lancaster, Lancaster County, PA 17603) for the right to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in call and demand service, from points in the City and County of Lancaster, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.

Revised A-2014-2399048. Wheels Take You There Transportation Service, LLC (73 Vance Avenue, Sicklerville, NJ 08081) persons in paratransit service, between points in the City and County of Philadelphia, and from points in the City and County of Philadelphia to SCI Camp Hill, SCI Graterford and SCI Somerset, limited to persons requiring transportation to said correctional facilities, and return.

Anthracite Region Center for Independent Living, Ltd (8 West Broad Street, Suite 228, Hazleton, PA 18201) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Carbon, Luzerne and Schuylkill. A-2014-2402297. Zaman Enterprises, LLC, t/a ASR Limousine (105 Paoli Pike, Malvern, Montgomery County, PA 19355) for the right to begin to transport as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, between points in Pennsylvania, excluding service that is between points in Allegheny County and service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority; which is to be a transfer of all the rights from A-00110269 issued to Aspire Limousine Service, Inc. t/a AA Direct Town Car.

Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods by transfer of rights as described under the application.

A-2014-2400623. A.A. Atkinson Moving, Inc. (758 Selmer Road, Philadelphia, Philadelphia County, PA 19116) for the right to begin to transport, as a Class B carrier, household goods and office furnishings in use and electrical equipment between points in the City and County of Philadelphia; and to transport, as a Class D carrier, household goods and office furnishings in use from points in the City of Philadelphia to other points in Pennsylvania within an airline distance of 250 statute miles of the Philadelphia City Hall and vice versa; which is to be a transfer of all the rights from A-00098581 issued to John P. A-2014-2401083. Donovan L. Yaukey (25 South Queen Street, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, PA 17257) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of the certificate as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, between points in the Counties of Franklin and Fulton.

A-2014-2401277. Phantom Shadow Limousines & Sedan Services, LLC (25 South Queen Street, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, PA 17257) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of the certificate as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Franklin, Fulton, Adams, Cumberland and Dauphin, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
