Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) Meetings

[Saturday, April 5, 2014]In accordance with 7 CFR 246.4(6) (relating to state plan), the Department of Health has scheduled two public meetings for the purpose of obtaining comments and recommendations for the development of the 2015 State Plan of Program Operation and Administration for the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC) in this Commonwealth. The first public meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Bucks County Health Department, Neshaminy Manor Center, 1282 Almshouse Road, Doylestown, PA 18901. The second public meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the WIC of Beaver Falls, 1317 7th Avenue, Beaver Falls, PA 15010.
Persons wishing to give testimony at these meeting are requested to preregister with the State WIC Program Office by calling (717) 783-1289. Anyone unable to attend the meeting but wishing to express their views may submit written comments by May 31, 2014, to the Department of Health, Bureau of Women, Infants and Children (WIC), 625 Forster Street, 7 West Health and Welfare Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120.
