DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND NATURAL RESOURCES

 The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is soliciting bids for the following projects. Bid documents can be obtained from the Administrative Services Section, Bureau of Facility Design and Construction at (717) 787-5055:

 FDC-007-100568.1—Rehabilitate Mid-State Trail Bridge and Tunnel at Penns Creek, Forest District #7—Bald Eagle State Forest, Haines and Armagh Townships, Centre and Mifflin Counties. Work included under this contract consists of the reconstruction of Mid-State Trail leading into and out of the tunnel as well as around the abutment backwall; and placing 6" depth driving surface aggregate from the east side tunnel to the gate at the Township Road. Work also includes the rehabilitation of bridge consisting of removal of existing bridge deck and railing; and rehabilitation of Paddy Mountain Tunnel along the Mid-State Trail which includes a section of corrugated steel pipe.

 FDC-220-7114.1—UST Removal and AST Installation at Marina, Presque Isle State Park, Erie County. Work included under this contract consists of the removal and proper disposal of two 12,000-gallon underground fuel storage tanks; construction of a new concrete pad to support two new 10,000-gallon above ground fuel storage tanks; furnishing and installing new submersible pumps in each of the new tanks; supplying the necessary piping and fittings to connect the new tanks to the existing buried double wall fiberglass pipe; and any electrical appurtenances to properly operate the new fuel system.

 FDC-009-100692.1—Quehanna Boot Camp Building Demolition, Moshannon State Forest, Karthaus Township, Clearfield County. Work included under this contract consists of completely demolishing and disposing of a 200,000-gallon water tank and pump house; and an approximately 112,000 square foot warehouse and apprentices.

 Responsive bidders must hold a current small business certification from the Department of General Services (DGS).

 FDC-206-100108.1—Road Rehabilitation, Phase 2, Kooser State Park, Jefferson Township, Somerset County. Work included under this contract consists of maintenance and protection of traffic; 300 tons aggregate shoulder; 6,600 square yards of modified full depth road reclamation; 1,600 tons subbase material; 260 tons 25 mm base course; 140 tons 9.5 mm wearing course; 19,200 square yards of bituminous prime coat; and 19,200 square yards of bituminous surface treatment.

 Responsive bidders must hold a current small business certification from DGS.

 Bid documents will be available on or after June 11, 2014. The bid opening will be held on July 10, 2014.
