Shared Ride Community Transportation Service Delivery Pilot Program; Invitation to Submit Letters of Interest

 Under 74 Pa.C.S. § 1516(f) (relating to programs of Statewide significance), which provides for a shared ride community transportation service delivery pilot program (Shared Ride Pilot Program), the Department of Transportation (Department) is providing notice to transportation providers, city, county and municipal governments, and other local boards or bodies with interest in designing new ways to deliver and pay for shared ride and community transportation that it will receive letters of interest and applications for the Shared Ride Pilot Program. Letters of interest and applications will be accepted from March 30, 2015, to June 30, 2015. The Department further provides notice of the availability of the Shared Ride Pilot Program models and the framework.

 Additional information and instructions, including without limitation the Shared Ride Pilot Program models and framework can be obtained on the Department's web site at www.dot.state.pa.us. (Select ''Multimodal Transportation (Transit/Aviation/Rail),'' then ''Public Transportation,'' then ''Shared Ride Community Transportation Pilot Program'').

 Letters of interest and applications may be submitted in writing to the Department at Attention—Shared Ride Pilot Program, Bureau of Public Transportation, 400 North Street, 6th Floor, Harrisburg, PA 17120 or submitted by e-mail to Danielle Spila at dspila@pa.gov.
