 CRF 002-101.1, Abandoned Mine Reclamation Project, West Newton Coal Logistics, Refuse Embankment Stabilization Project, Rostraver Township, Westmoreland County. The principal items of work and approximate quantities include mobilization and demobilization, implementation of the erosion and sedimentation control plan, clearing and grubbing, electrical facilities relocation, dewatering and diversion and care of water, grading 758,780 cubic yards, ditch excavation 10,000 cubic yards, smooth interior corrugated polyethylene pipe 630 linear feet, 24" x 38" elliptical reinforced concrete pipe 80 linear feet, maintenance of trail traffic, erosion control/turf reinforcement mat 28,200 square yards, rock lining with filter material 24,190 square yards, tied concrete block mat 9,990 square yards, subsurface drain 7,000 linear feet, geotechnical instrumentation and monitoring, prefabricated vertical drains 1,244,800 linear feet, reinforcement geotextile 126,240 square yards, separator geotextile 121,240 square yards, Department of Transportation Type A sand 115,165 tons, special handling of pond closure material 156,650 cubic yards, bauxite residue procurement 18,000 tons, bauxite residue transportation 21,100 tons, bauxite residue application 21,100 tons, bauxite residue samples requiring laboratory tests, access roadway surface material 1,680 square yards and seeding 110 acres. This bid issues on May 1, 2015, and bids will be opened on June 4, 2015, at 2 p.m. Bid documents cost $15 per set and will not be mailed until payment has been received. This project is financed by the Federal government under the authority given it by the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (act) (30 U.S.C.A. §§ 1201—1308) and is subject to the act and to the Federal grant for this project.
