UPMC Health Benefits, Inc. (UPMC-130203668); Individual EPO HSA Transitional Policies; Rate Filing

[Saturday, August 29, 2015]UPMC Health Benefits, Inc. submitted a rate filing to increase the premium rates for its Transitional Individual EPO HSA Program. The filing proposes a rate increase of 9.9% and will affect approximately 1,409 members. The proposed rate increase will generate approximately $364,528 of additional annual revenue and will be effective January 1, 2016.
Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to November 11, 2015, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.
A copy of the filing is available on the Insurance Department's (Department) web site at www.insurance.pa.gov. Under the tab ''How to Find . . .'' click on the link ''PA Bulletin.''
A copy of the filing is also available for public inspection, by appointment, during normal working hours at the Department's regional office in Harrisburg.
