[Saturday, February 14, 2015]The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant by March 2, 2015. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.
Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.
A-2014-2433367. Bedford Area Ambulance Service, Inc. (P. O. Box 625, Bedford, Bedford County, PA 15522-1727) in paratransit service, from points in Bedford County, east of the eastern borders of the Townships of Woodbury, South Woodbury, Snake Spring, Colerain and Cumberland Valley, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2014-2449185 (Amended). Grannys Helping Hands PA, Inc. (P. O. Box 725, Lansdowne, PA 19050) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in paratransit service, between points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia.
A-2015-2462693. 1st Class Transportation, LLC (66 Rockhaven Court, Reading, PA 19606) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in limousine service, from points in Berks County to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
Applications of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under each application.
A-2014-2453702. Global Point Transportation, LLC (922 North Kearney Street, Allentown, Lehigh County, PA 18109) for the right to begin to transport as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, from points in the Counties of Lehigh, Northampton, Monroe, Carbon, Bucks and Berks, to points in Pennsylvania, excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority; which is to be a transfer of all the rights from A-00123058 issued to Valley Limousine Service, LLC.
A-2014-2459498. US Transit Authority, LLC t/a Luxury Lift (3265 Fulling Mill Road, Middletown, Dauphin County, PA 17057) for the right to begin to transport as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, between points in Pennsylvania, excluding service between points in Allegheny County, and excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority; which is to be a transfer of all the rights from A-2014-2400410 issued to Youth Transit Authority, LLC d/b/a Cumberland Valley Car Service. Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods by transfer of rights as described under each application.
A-2015-2462340. Litemovers.com, LLC (687 West Lancaster Avenue, Wayne, Chester County, PA 19087) for the following rights:
1. To transport, as a class D carrier, household goods in use, between points in the Counties of Philadelphia, Delaware, Chester, Montgomery and Bucks, included within a line which connects the municipal boundaries of Chester, West Chester, Paoli, Norristown, Doylestown and Morrisville, but not including said places, and from points in said area, to other points in Pennsylvania, and vice versa;
2. To transport, as a Class D carrier, household goods in use, between points in the City of Coatesville, Chester County, and within an airline distance of 50 statute miles thereof, and from points in said area, to points in Pennsylvania, and vice versa;
Right 2 subject to the following conditions:
(a) That no right, power or privilege is granted to provide service between points in the County of Lancaster or from points in the said county to other points in Pennsylvania;
(b) That the rights, power and privileges herein granted shall not include any points that are within an airline distance of 50 statute miles of Harrisburg, Dauphin County, in the Counties of York, Dauphin, Lebanon and Schuylkill;
(c) That no right, power or privilege is granted to provide service from points within an airline distance of 50 statute miles of Harrisburg, Dauphin County, for delivery to any other points within an airline distance of 50 statute miles of Harrisburg, Dauphin County;
(d) That the rights, powers and privileges herein granted shall exclude from the area within an airline distance of 50 statute miles of Coatesville, the territory in that part of the Counties of Delaware, Montgomery, Bucks and Philadelphia east and south of a line beginning at the City of Chester, thence by means of U. S. Highway Route 320 through Broomall to Villanova, thence by a line drawn from Villanova to Swedeland, thence to Bridgeport, thence to Norristown, thence to Doylestown and from Doylestown to Morrisville, but retaining in said 50-mile area, all points and places on the previously described boundary lines, except the City of Chester, Delaware County.
3. To transport, as a Class D carrier, household goods in use, between points in the area bounded by the City of Chester, Delaware County, the Borough of Downingtown, Chester County, the Borough of Norristown, Montgomery County, and the Borough of Morrisville, Bucks County, excluding said points and also excluding points in Delaware County beyond a 10 statute-mile airline distance of the Philadelphia City Hall, and from points in said area to other points in Pennsylvania, and vice versa.
4. To transport, as a Class B carrier, household goods in use, between points in the Borough of West Chester, Chester County, and within an airline distance of 3 statute miles of the said borough limits.
5. To transport, as a Class D carrier, household goods in use, from points in the Borough of West Chester, Chester County, and within an airline distance of 3 statute miles of the said borough limits, to other points in Pennsylvania, and vice versa.
6. To transport, as a Class D carrier, household goods in use, from points within an airline distance of 10 statute miles of the Chester County Courthouse in the Borough of West Chester, to other points in Pennsylvania, and vice versa;
Rights 2—6 subject to the following conditions:
(a) That no right, power or privilege is granted to provide service from points in the City of Coatesville, Chester County, and within 10 miles by the usually traveled highways of the limits of said city to other points in Pennsylvania, and vice versa;
(b) That no right, power or privilege is granted to provide service from points in the Borough of Downingtown, Chester County, and within an airline distance of 3 statute miles of the limits of said borough to points in Pennsylvania, and vice versa;
which is to be a transfer of all the household goods rights from A-00113228, F.2 issued to Goggin Moving, Inc.
A-2015-2464495. Armstrong Relocation Company, Pennsylvania, LLC, t/a Tri-State Moving Systems (1074 East Main Street, Mount Joy, PA 17552) a limited liability company of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, which is to be a transfer of all rights authorized under the certificates issued at A-00099283, A-2010-2165814 and A-2011-2233456 to Jack Treier, Inc., t/a Tri-State Moving Systems subject to the same rights and limitations.
