[Saturday, June 4, 2016]AMD 65(1183)103.1, Acid Mine Drainage Abatement Project, Keystone Passive Treatment System, Derry Township, Westmoreland County. The principal items of work and approximate quantities include limestone coarse aggregate 4,800 tons, installation of AMD conveyance 1,600 linear feet, grading 5,600 cubic yards, seeding 4 acres and mine seal.
This bid issues on June 24, 2016, and bids will be opened on July 21, 2016, at 2 p.m. Bid documents, including drawings in PDF format and Auto-Cad Map 3D format, may be downloaded for free beginning on the issue date from the Department of Environmental Protection's web site at www.dep.pa.gov/ConstructionContracts. Bid documents and drawings can also be obtained upon payment of $22, plus $8 for postage, which includes sales tax, by calling (717) 787-7820. Auto-Cad Map 3D format drawings can also be purchased on a compact disc (CD) for an additional $5 per CD. Money will not be refunded. This project is financed by the Federal government under the authority given it by the Surface Mining Control and Reclamation Act of 1977 (act) (30 U.S.C.A. §§ 1201—1308) and is subject to the act and to the Federal grant for this project.
