Availability of the Department's Medicaid Access Monitoring Review Plan

 The Department of Human Services (Department) is making available for public review and comment the Department's Medicaid Access Monitoring Review Plan (Plan) in accordance with Federal Medicaid regulations in 42 CFR 447.203—447.205 (relating to documentation of access to care and service payment rates; Medicaid provider participation and public process to inform access to care; and public notice of changes in Statewide methods and standards for setting payment rates). The Plan is available to the public through the Department's web site at http://www.dhs.pa.gov/publications/accessmonitoringplan/index.htm#.VztwUE3rvoo for a 30-day public review and comment period.

Public Comment

 Interested persons are invited to submit comments regarding the Department's Plan by e-mail to RA-PWAccessMonitor@pa.gov. Written comments may be sent to the Department of Human Services, Office of Medical Assistance Programs, c/o Regulations Coordinator, Room 515, Health and Welfare Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120. Comments received within 30 days will be considered for revisions to the Plan.
