Medical Marijuana Advisory Board Meeting

[Saturday, October 21, 2017]The Department of Health (Department) gives notice that the Medical Marijuana Advisory Board (Board) will meet on Monday, November 6, 2017, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in Hearing Room 1, Keystone Building, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA. This is the introductory meeting of the Board. The Board's purpose under the Medical Marijuana Act (act) (35 P.S. §§ 10231.101—10231.2110), among other things is to: examine and analyze the statutory and regulatory law relating to medical marijuana in this Commonwealth; examine and analyze the law and events in other states and the Nation with respect to medical marijuana; accept and review written comments from individuals and organizations about medical marijuana; and 2 years after the effective date of the act issue a written report to the Governor, the Senate and the House of Representatives.
