Contemplated Sale of Land No Longer Needed for Transportation Purposes

[Saturday, December 23, 2017]The Department of Transportation (Department), under the Sale of Transportation Lands Act (71 P.S. 1381.1—1381.3), intends to sell certain land owned by the Department.
The following property is available for sale by the Department.
1. A four-parcel assemblage known as Parcels 266, 267, 268 and 269 in the City of Chester, Delaware County. The parcels contain a total of approximately 2,929 square feet. The estimated fair market value of the parcels is $9,000. Located and described on Department plans as SR 0291 A10 Parcels No. 266, 267, 268 and 269.
2. Portions of the properties formerly known as 304 West Second Street Folio No. 49060002200, 306 West Second Street Folio No. 490600023000, 308 West Second Street Folio No. 49060002400 and 310 West Second Street Folio No. 49060002500. Contact the Department for bid forms.
It has been determined that the land is no longer needed for present or future transportation purposes.
Interested public entities are invited to express their interest in purchasing these parcels within 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice to Kenneth M. McClain, PE, District Executive, Engineering District 6-0, Attn: Roger Joseph, Right-of-Way Administrator, 7000 Geerdes Boulevard, King of Prussia, PA 19406.
