Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau; Rule Filing for Rate and Rule Manual Revisions; Coal Hauling

 On July 11, 2018, the Insurance Department received from the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau (Bureau) a filing that proposes revisions to the Bureau's underwriting guide for classification code 810—Coal Trucking and classification code 811—Trucking, N.O.C.

 Currently, truck delivery of unprepared coal is assigned to classification code 810 and truck delivery of prepared coal is assigned to classification code 811. This filing proposes to combine all coal hauling under classification code 810. The currently approved Bureau loss costs for classification codes 810 and 811 are $3.77 and $6.44, respectively.

 The revised classification code 810 will continue to utilize code 0162 to designate the nonratable premium for coverage under the Federal Mine Safety and Health Act of 1977 (30 U.S.C.A. §§ 801—966).

 The filing is available for review on the Bureau's web site at www.pcrb.com in the ''Filings'' section.
