Special Regulation Designations

[Saturday, November 23, 2019]The Fish and Boat Commission (Commission) took the following action with respect to waters subject to 58 Pa. Code Chapter 65 (relating to special fishing regulations), effective January 1, 2020. A notice of proposed designations was published at 49 Pa.B. 5261 (September 7, 2019) and the Commission received a total of nine public comments: six supported the proposed designations, two supported the proposed designations of a specific water and one comment opposed the proposed designations. In response to public comments, the Commission revised the end limits of one stream section, Chest Creek, Cambria County, noted in the following table.

The Commission extended the limits of nine stream sections managed under the delayed harvest artificial lures only areas regulation:
