Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau; Workers' Compensation Rate and Rule Filing

 On June 11, 2020, the Insurance Department (Department) received a rate and rule filing from the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau (Bureau) impacting the classification of temporary workers. The filing was submitted in accordance with section 705 of the Workers' Compensation Act (77 P.S. § 1035.5).

 The filing proposes an April 1, 2021, effective date and proposes to create a new methodology for the classification of temporary workers. Specifically, the proposed filing would eliminate the current 37 temporary staffing class codes and would create 296 new temporary staffing codes.

 The entire April 1, 2021, filing is available for review on the Bureau's web site at www.pcrb.com (select ''Filings,'' then ''Filing No. 311—Proposed Effective April 1, 2021'').

 Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Eric Zhou, Insurance Department, Office of Insurance Product Regulation, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, gzhou@pa.gov, within 30 days after publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
