Rare Disease Advisory Council Virtual Meeting

 The Rare Disease Advisory Council, established under the Rare Disease Advisory Council Act (35 P.S. §§ 6261—6268), will hold a public virtual meeting on Thursday, September 10, 2020, from 11:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The purpose of the meeting is to review progress in areas to coordinate Statewide efforts for the study of the incidence and prevalence of rare diseases in this Commonwealth; advise the General Assembly and relevant State and private agencies that provide services to, or are charged with the care of, individuals with rare diseases; and coordinate communication with relevant organizations within this Commonwealth to ensure greater cooperation between entities regarding the research, diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases.
