Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

[Saturday, October 10, 2020]The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by October 26, 2020. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.
Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.
A-2020-3021901. Alpine Caregiver Services for Adults, LLC (303 Elm Street, Reading, Berks County, PA 19601) persons with waivers, in paratransit service, by motor vehicle, from points in the Counties of Adams, Berks, Lancaster, Lebanon, Lehigh, Montgomery, Schuylkill and York, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2020-3022064. Ambucab, LLC (4321 Anthony Drive, Bethlehem, Northampton County, PA 18020) in para- transit service, from points in the Counties of Lehigh and Northampton, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2020-3020712. Gold Star Transportation, LLC (2302 East Allegheny Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19134) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in paratransit service, limited to senior citizens, between points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery and Philadelphia, and return.
Application of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of household goods as described under the application.
A-2020-3021705. Reyden Transport Corp. (10 Park Street, West Hazleton, PA 18202) for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, household goods in use, between points in Pennsylvania.
Application of the following for approval to begin operating as a broker for transportation of persons as described under the application.
A-2020-3019069. ABT Group, LLC (25 North Yewdall Street, Philadelphia, PA 19139) for a brokerage license evidencing the Commission's approval of the right and privilege to operate as a broker, to arrange for the transportation of persons between points in Pennsylvania.
Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.
A-2020-3022149. Randall S. Challenger (246 West Broad Street, Elizabethville, Dauphin County, PA 17023) for the discontinuance and cancellation of its authority, begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the Counties of Dauphin and Northumberland, to points in Pennsylvania, and return, as described in the original ordering paragraph at Docket No. A-2012-2292931.
A-2020-3022153. Dada's 3, LLC (7724 Mount Carmel Road, Verona, PA 15147) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, for the right to begin to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, between points in Allegheny County, and from outbound points in the Counties of Beaver, Butler, Washington and Westmoreland.
