Rare Disease Advisory Council Meeting

[Saturday, February 8, 2020]The Department of Health will hold a public meeting of the Rare Disease Advisory Council on Thursday, February 13, 2020, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. This meeting will be held at Gannett Flemming, 207 Senate Avenue, Camp Hill, PA 17011. The purpose of this meeting is to review progress in areas to coordinate Statewide efforts for the study of the incidence and prevalence of rare diseases in this Commonwealth; advise the General Assembly and relevant State and private agencies that provide services to, or are charged with the care of, individuals with rare diseases; and coordinate communication with relevant organizations within this Commonwealth to ensure greater cooperation between entities regarding the research, diagnosis and treatment of rare diseases.
