Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

[Saturday, January 9, 2021]The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission. Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities). A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. Filings must be made with the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by January 25, 2021. Documents filed in support of the applications are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, and at the business address of the respective applicant.
Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.
A-2020-3023345. Way Mark Transport, LLC (59 Cypress Drive, Leola, PA 17540) persons in paratransit service, by motor vehicle, from points in Lancaster County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2020-3023469. Corry Klopp, t/a Klopps Transportation (130 Furnace Road, Quarryville, Lancaster County, PA 17566) for the right to begin to transport, persons, by motor vehicle, in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in Lancaster County, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
Application of the following for approval to begin operating as a broker for transportation of persons as described under the application.
A-2020-3021467. Expressmed Transport, LLC (176 Lower Holland Road, Southampton, Bucks County, PA 18966) for the right to begin to arrange transportation of passengers, between points in the Counties of Bucks and Montgomery, and the City and County of Philadelphia.
Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.
A-2020-3023199. Transport U, LLC (3340 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, Allegheny County, PA 15201) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate to transport as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons, in paratransit service, as previously granted under A-00123251.
A-2020-3023329. Infotech Consulting Services, Inc., t/a Friendly Services (2254 Creek Road, Langhorne, Bucks County, PA 19053) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate to transport as a common carrier, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from the City of Philadelphia to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
