Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

[Saturday, June 12, 2021]The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before June 28, 2021. Filings must be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by June 28, 2021. In accordance with the Commission's Emergency Order at M-2020-3019262, all parties participating in matters pending before the Commission are required to eFile their submissions by opening an eFiling account and accepting eService. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the previously listed docket number or by searching the applicant's web site.
Applications of the following for approval of the beginning of the exercise of the right and privilege of operating motor vehicles as common carriers for the transportation of persons by transfer of rights as described under each application.
A-2021-3026121. Primary Health Network (63 Pitt Street, P.O. Box 716, Sharon, Mercer County, PA 16146) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Crawford, Lawrence and Mercer to points in Pennsylvania, and return, which is to be a transfer of all rights authorized under the certificate issued at A-6414300, to PHN Charitable Foundation, subject to the same limitations and conditions. A-2021-3026124. Primary Health Network (63 Pitt Street, P.O. Box 716, Sharon, Mercer County, PA 16146) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers, including the driver, from points in the Counties of Crawford, Lawrence and Mercer, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority, which is to be a transfer of all rights authorized under the certificate issued at A-6414300, to PHN Charitable Foundation, subject to the same limitations and conditions. Box 545, Abington, Montgomery County, PA 19001) to transport persons, in contract carrier service, for Access2Care, LLC, from points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Lehigh and Montgomery, and the City and County of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2021-3025109. Ant Transportation, LLC (917 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107) for Friend's Senior Care Center, between points in the City and County of Philadelphia.
