[Saturday, August 21, 2021]Under Article VI-A of The Insurance Department Act of 1921 (40 P.S. §§ 310.1—310.99a), Robert F. Walters, Jr. has appealed the denial of the application for a 1033 written waiver to engage in the business of insurance. The proceedings in this matter will be governed by 2 Pa.C.S. §§ 501—508, 561—588 and 701—704 (relating to Administrative Agency Law), 1 Pa. Code Part II (relating to General Rules of Administrative Practice and Procedure) and 31 Pa. Code §§ 56.1—56.3 (relating to Special Rules of Administrative Practice and Procedure).
A prehearing videoconference initiated by this office is scheduled for August 25, 2021. A date for a hearing shall be determined, if necessary, at the prehearing videoconference.
Protests, petitions to intervene or notices of intervention, if any, must be electronically filed on or before September 8, 2021. The e-mail address to be used for the Administrative Hearings Office shall be ra-hearings@pa.gov. Answer to protests, petitions to intervene or notices of intervention, if any shall be electronically filed on or before September 20, 2021.
