Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau Filing No. 331

[Saturday, October 30, 2021]On October 15, 2021, the Insurance Department received from the Pennsylvania Compensation Rating Bureau (Bureau or PCRB) a filing that proposes two new classifications in response to the act of November 3, 2020 (P.L. 1080, No. 108). PCRB Filing No. 331 proposes an April 1, 2022, effective date for both new and renewal business and includes the following new classifications:
• Classification 906, Volunteer Ambulance Corps—Support Staff
• Classification 989, Volunteer Fire Company—Support Staff
Classification 906 is proposed to have a lost cost of $18.87. Classification 989 is proposed to have a schedule of loss costs that vary based on the population served by the Volunteer Fire Company. The schedule can be viewed within PCRB Filing No. 331.
PCRB Filing No. 331 is available for review on the Bureau's web site at www.pcrb.com in the ''Filings'' section under ''Featured Products.''
