Pennsylvania Color Block Crossword Instant Lottery Game 1507

 Under the State Lottery Law (72 P.S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314) and 61 Pa. Code § 819.203 (relating to notice of instant game rules), the Secretary of Revenue hereby provides public notice of the rules for the following instant lottery game:

 1. Name: The name of the game is Pennsylvania Color Block Crossword (hereinafter ''Color Block Crossword''). The game number is PA-1507.

 2. Price: The price of a Color Block Crossword instant lottery game ticket is $3.

 3. Play symbols: Each Color Block Crossword instant lottery game ticket will feature a ''YOUR LETTERS'' area and two crossword puzzle play grids, known as ''GRID 1'' and ''GRID 2,'' respectively. Each ''GRID'' is divided into a green ''COLOR BLOCK,'' an orange ''COLOR BLOCK'' and a blue ''COLOR BLOCK.'' The ''COLOR BLOCKS'' for each ''GRID'' are played in conjunction with that ''GRID'' and each ''GRID'' is played separately. The play symbols, located in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, ''GRID 1'' and ''GRID 2,'' are: the letters A through and including Z.

 4. Prizes: The prizes that can be won in this game are: $3, $5, $10, $20, $30, $50, $100, $1,000 and $50,000. A player can win up to two times on a ticket.

 5. Approximate number of tickets printed for the game: Approximately 9,600,000 tickets will be printed for the Color Block Crossword instant lottery game.

 6. Determination of prize winners:

 (a) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches nine entire words in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50,000.

 (b) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches eight entire words in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1,000.

 (c) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches all the letters in a horizontal ''COLOR BLOCK'' in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, and a prize symbol of $1,000 (ONE THO) appears in the ''Prize'' area for that ''COLOR BLOCK,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1,000.

 (d) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches seven entire words in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.

 (e) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches all the letters in a horizontal ''COLOR BLOCK'' in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, and a prize symbol of $100 (ONE HUN) appears in the ''Prize'' area for that ''COLOR BLOCK,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.

 (f) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches all the letters in a horizontal ''COLOR BLOCK'' in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, and a prize symbol of $50.00 (FIFTY) appears in the ''Prize'' area for that ''COLOR BLOCK,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $50.

 (g) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches all the letters in a horizontal ''COLOR BLOCK'' in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, and a prize symbol of $30.00 (THIRTY) appears in the ''Prize'' area for that ''COLOR BLOCK,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $30.

 (h) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches six entire words in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $20.

 (i) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches all the letters in a horizontal ''COLOR BLOCK'' in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, and a prize symbol of $20.00 (TWENTY) appears in the ''Prize'' area for that ''COLOR BLOCK,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $20.

 (j) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches all the letters in a horizontal ''COLOR BLOCK'' in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, and a prize symbol of $10.00 (TEN DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area for that ''COLOR BLOCK,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $10.

 (k) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches all the letters in a horizontal ''COLOR BLOCK'' in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, and a prize symbol of $5.00 (FIV DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area for that ''COLOR BLOCK,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $5.

 (l) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches five entire words in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the ''YOUR LETTERS'' area, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $3.

 (m) Holders of tickets where the player completely matches all the letters in a horizontal ''COLOR BLOCK'' in either ''GRID,'' using only the letters found in the''YOUR LETTERS'' area, and a prize symbol of $3.00 (THR DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area for that ''COLOR BLOCK,'' on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $3.

 7. Number and description of prizes and approximate odds: The following table sets forth the approximate number of winners, amounts of prizes, and approximate odds of winning:

 Scratch the ''YOUR LETTERS'' to reveal 18 letters. Rub each matching letter every time it is found in either Crossword GRID. Each letter's square, when rubbed gently, will turn a solid green, orange or blue.

 When you have matched the letters of five (5) or more entire words in either Crossword GRID, win the corresponding PRIZE shown in the PRIZE KEY. Only the highest prize won in each Crossword GRID will be paid.

 Each Crossword GRID is played separately. Each Crossword GRID is played separately from the COLOR BLOCK MATCH. If a ''word'' extends into more than one COLOR BLOCK section, it is still considered one word and cannot be split to form two ''words.''

 COLOR BLOCK MATCH: Each Crossword GRID has a green, an orange and a blue COLOR BLOCK section. After matching all the YOUR LETTERS to the letters in either Crossword GRID, review the letter squares within each horizontal COLOR BLOCK section. When all the letters in a COLOR BLOCK section are matched to the YOUR LETTERS, win prize shown for the corresponding COLOR BLOCK MATCH! A full ''word'' does not need to be completed to win a COLOR BLOCK MATCH, but every letter within a COLOR BLOCK section must be solid green, orange or blue to win a PRIZE.


 Prizes, including top prizes, are subject to availability at the time of purchase.

 8. Retailer incentive awards: The Lottery may conduct a separate Retailer Incentive Program for retailers who sell Color Block Crossword instant lottery game tickets.

 9. Retailer bonus: The Lottery may offer a retailer bonus in connection with the sale of Pennsylvania instant lottery game tickets. If a retailer bonus is offered, a Lottery retailer shall be eligible for a bonus as described in this section. Lottery retailers who sell a winning ticket that entitles the ticket holder to a prize, either payable in a single installment or having a guaranteed minimum payout, of at least $100,000 and not exceeding $500,000 shall be paid a bonus of $500. Lottery retailers who sell a winning ticket that entitles the ticket holder to a prize, either payable in a single installment or having a guaranteed minimum payout, of at least $500,001 and not exceeding $1,000,000 shall be paid a bonus of $5,000. Lottery retailers who sell a winning ticket that entitles the ticket holder to a prize, either payable in a single installment or having a guaranteed minimum payout, of at least $1,000,001 and not exceeding $10,000,000 shall be paid a bonus of $10,000. A Lottery retailer is entitled only to the largest bonus for which they qualify on a winning ticket. A bonus will be initiated for payment after the instant ticket is claimed and validated. A bonus will not be awarded to a Lottery retailer that sells a non-winning Pennsylvania Lottery instant ticket used to enter a Pennsylvania Lottery second-chance drawing or promotion that is subsequently selected to win a prize.

 10. Unclaimed prize money: For a period of 1 year from the announced close of Color Block Crossword, prize money from winning Color Block Crossword instant lottery game tickets will be retained by the Secretary for payment to the persons entitled thereto. If no claim is made within 1 year of the announced close of the Color Block Crossword instant lottery game, the right of a ticket holder to claim the prize represented by the ticket, if any, will expire and the prize money will be paid into the State Lottery Fund and used for purposes provided for by statute.

 11. Governing law: In purchasing a ticket, the customer agrees to comply with and abide by the State Lottery Law (72 P.S. §§ 3761-101—3761-314), 61 Pa. Code Part V (relating to State Lotteries) and the provisions contained in this notice.

 12. Termination of the game: The Secretary may announce a termination date, after which no further tickets from this game may be sold. The announcement will be disseminated through media used to advertise or promote Color Block Crossword or through normal communications methods.
