Application of PPL Electric Utilities Corporation under 15 Pa.C.S. § 1511(c) (relating to additional powers of certain public utility corporations) for a finding and determination that the service to be furnished by the applicant through its proposed exercise of the power of eminent domain to acquire a certain portion of the lands of August and Diana Baker in Dickson City Borough and Scott Township, Lackawanna County for the proposed rebuilding of the Summit-Lackawanna # 1 and # 2 230 kV associated with the proposed Summit-Lackawanna Project is necessary or proper for the service, accommodation, convenience or safety of the public.
Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before April 22, 2022. Filings must be made with the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant. The documents filed in support of the application are available for inspection and copying at the Office of the Secretary between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission's (Commission) web site at www.puc.pa.gov and at the applicant's business address.
