INSURANCE DEPARTMENT

Review Procedure Hearings; Cancellation or Refusal of Insurance

 The following insureds have requested a hearing as authorized by the act of June 17, 1998 (P.L. 464, No. 68) (Act 68) in connection with the termination of the insureds' automobile insurance policy. The hearings will be held in accordance with the requirements of Act 68; 2 Pa.C.S. §§ 501—508, 561—588 and 701—704 (relating to Administrative Agency Law); 1 Pa. Code Part II (relating to General Rules of Administrative Practice and Procedure); and 31 Pa. Code §§ 56.1—56.3 (relating to Special Rules of Administrative Practice and Procedure). These administrative hearings will be held as follows. Failure by the appellants to appear at the scheduled hearing may result in dismissal with prejudice.

 The hearings will be held at the Department of Insurance, c/o Bureau of Hearings and Appeals, 801 Market Street, 4th Floor, Fairmount Hearing Room # 4129, Philadelphia, PA 19107.

 Appeal of John DiGiacomo; State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company; File No. 22-130-270417; Doc. No. P22-07-005; November 30, 2022, 11 a.m.

 Following the hearings and receipt of the stenographic transcript, the Acting Insurance Commissioner (Acting Commissioner) will issue a written order resolving the factual issues presented at the hearings and stating what remedial action, if any, is required. The Acting Commissioner's Order will be sent to those persons participating in the hearings or their designated representatives. The Order of the Acting Commissioner may be subject to judicial review by the Commonwealth Court.
