DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION

Contemplated Sale of Land No Longer Needed for Transportation Purposes

 The Department of Transportation (Department), under the Sale of Transportation Lands Act (71 P.S. §§ 1381.1—1381.3) intends to sell certain land owned by the Department.

 The following property is available for sale by the Department.

 1. State Route 119, Parcel Nos. 5 and 6, Tax IDs 24-002-0208A parcel 5 and 24-002-0211 parcel 6, RW Plan LR 63, Punxsutawney Borough, Jefferson County. This parcel contains approximately 4,091 square feet or 0.09 acre of improved/unimproved land situated at Station 145 ± 27 RT to Station 146 ± 15 RT identified on the more current plan sheet State Route 119 Seg 550/551. The property will be sold in as is condition. The estimated fair market value of the parcels are $3,600. It has been determined that the land is no longer needed for present or future transportation purposes.

 Interested public agencies are invited to express their interest in purchasing the parcels within 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice to Kevin D. Pollino, Right-of-Way Administrator, Department of Transportation, Engineering District 10-0, 2550 Oakland Avenue, Indiana, PA 15701-3388.
