Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC Program); 2023 WIC Public Comment Sessions

 In accordance with 7 CFR 246.4(b) (relating to State plan), the Department of Health (Department), Bureau of Women, Infants and Children has scheduled the following three public comment sessions to provide the general public an opportunity to comment on the development of the 2024 State Plan for the Pennsylvania Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC Program).

 The Department values the public's feedback and suggestions on improving the WIC Program and encourages the public to participate.

 The 2023 WIC public comment sessions will be held in person, virtually and telephonically from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as follows:

 1. Monday, May 22, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Adagio Health, 323 Sunset Drive, Suite 1, Butler, PA 16001.

 2. Tuesday, May 23, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Chester County Government Services Center, 601 Westtown Road, West Chester, PA 19380.

 3. Thursday, May 25, 2023, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Hamilton Health Center, 110 South 17th Street, Harrisburg, PA 17104.

 These public comment sessions are just for the public to share their opinion with the Department. The Department will not be presenting any material.

 The sessions will be recorded. Individuals choosing to participate are consenting to being recorded.

 These public comment sessions are subject to cancellation without notice.

 For anyone unable to attend a session, the Department will accept comments by text message or by phone call at (412) 418-4366, ra-wicprogram@pa.gov or at Department of Health, Bureau of Women, Infants and Children (WIC), 625 Forster Street, 7th Floor West, Health and Welfare Building, Harrisburg, PA 17120. Comments must be submitted no later than May 31, 2023.
