[Saturday, July 15, 2023]A-2023-3041609. Pine-Roe Natural Gas Company, Inc. Pine-Roe Natural Gas Company, Inc. (Pine-Roe) hereby requests permission from the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission) to acquire the customers, pipelines, meters and regulators of Blue Flame effective August 1, 2023. As a result of this acquisition, Pine-Roe and Blue Flame submit this application requesting permission for the expansion of Pine-Roe's service territory to include the area of Toby Township and Porter Township, Clarion County, and for Pine-Roe to be permitted to provide natural gas service under its existing tariff to those customers presently served by Blue Flame.
Formal protests and petitions to intervene must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before July 31, 2023. Filings must be made with the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, 2nd Floor, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant. The documents filed in support of the application are available only online for inspection and copying on the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov and at the applicant's business address. Parties to proceedings pending before the Commission must open and use an eFiling account through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov or they may submit the filing by overnight delivery to the Secretary, Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120. If a filing contains confidential or proprietary material, the filing is required to be submitted by overnight delivery. Large filings containing confidential or proprietary material may be submitted through the Commission's Share Point File system with advanced notice to the Commission prior to submittal.
