Application for Approval to Acquire Control of Bravo Health Pennsylvania, Inc. and Medco Containment Life Insurance Company

 HCSC Medicare, Inc., HCSC Medicare Holdings, Inc. and Health Care Services Corporation, a mutual legal reserve company, have filed an application to acquire control of Bravo Health Pennsylvania, Inc., a Pennsylvania domiciled health maintenance organization, and Medco Containment Life Insurance Company, a Pennsylvania domiciled life insurance company. The filing was received on March 29, 2024, and was made under The Insurance Company Law of 1921 (40 P.S. §§ 991.1401—991.1414).

 Persons wishing to comment on this acquisition are invited to submit a written statement to the Insurance Department (Department) within 30 days from the date of publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. Each written statement must include the name, address and telephone number of the interested party; identification of the application to which the statement is addressed; and a concise statement with sufficient detail and relevant facts to inform the Department of the exact basis of the statement. Comments received will be part of the public record regarding the filing and will be forwarded to the applicant for appropriate response.
