[Saturday, January 20, 2024]On November 9, 2023, the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission) entered a Joint Motion at the previously captioned docket directing its Law Bureau and Bureau of Technical Utility Services to, by February 28, 2024, prepare for the Commission's consideration of an Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking (ANOPR) regarding any amendments or additions needed to align existing Commission regulations or policy statements with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission's Order No. 2222.
In an effort to obtain initial input from distributed energy resource aggregators, which may be impacted by the ANOPR, the Commission will be hosting a virtual meeting by means of Microsoft Teams on February 1, 2024, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. At this meeting, stakeholders will have the opportunity to share their ideas with Commission staff on issues and topics to be addressed in the ANOPR proceeding.
To participate in this meeting, contact Kayla Cobaugh, kacobaugh@pa.gov by January 31, 2024. As the date of the meeting approaches, a Microsoft Teams meeting invite will be sent to all stakeholders who have communicated their intent to attend.
Individuals with questions should contact Deputy Chief Counsels Kriss Brown, kribrown@pa.gov and Elizabeth Barnes, ebarnes@pa.gov. The Commission appreciates participation as the Commission works to harmonize its regulations and policy statements with Order No. 2222.
