Service of Notice of Motor Carrier Applications

[Saturday, August 31, 2024]The following temporary authority and/or permanent authority applications for the right to render service as a common carrier or contract carrier in this Commonwealth have been filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission (Commission). Formal protests, petitions to intervene and answers must be filed in accordance with 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities) on or before September 16, 2024. Filings are recommended to be made electronically through eFiling to the Secretary of the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, 400 North Street, Harrisburg, PA 17120, with a copy served on the applicant by September 16, 2024. Individuals can sign up for a free eFiling account with the Secretary of the Commission through the Commission's eFiling system at https://www.puc.pa.gov/efiling/Default.aspx. A protest shall indicate whether it applies to the temporary authority application, the permanent authority application, or both. Protests may only be filed if there is evidence that the applicant lacks fitness. Protests based on endangering or impairing operations of an existing carrier will not be honored. The documents filed in support of the application are only available for inspection through the Commission's web site at www.puc.pa.gov by searching under the docket number as follows or by searching the applicant's web site.
Applications of the following for approval to begin operating as common carriers for transportation of persons as described under each application.
A-2024-3050026. Right Lane Transportation, LLC (14080 Michael Drive, North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County, PA 15642) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in the Counties of Allegheny, Armstrong, Beaver, Butler, Clarion, Crawford, Erie, Fayette, Forest, Greene, Indiana, Jefferson, Lawrence, Mercer, Somerset, Venango, Warren, Washington and Westmoreland, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2024-3050588. First Line EMS, LLC (14-18 North 52nd Street, Philadelphia, PA 19139) in paratransit service, between points in the Counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery, and the City and County of Philadelphia.
A-2024-3050781. Rainbow Cab, Inc. (539 South Bolmar Street, West Chester, Chester County, PA 19382) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in limousine service, from points in the Counties of Chester, Delaware and Mongtomery, to points in Pennsylvania, and return; excluding areas under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
A-2024-3050796. 1st Choice Med Trans, LLC (295 Buck Road, Suite 204, Holland, Bucks County, PA 18966) to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, from points in Delaware County and the City and County of Philadelphia, to points in Pennsylvania, and return. Applications of the following for the approval of the right and privilege to discontinue/abandon operating as common carriers by motor vehicle and for cancellation of the certificate of public convenience as described under each application.
A-2024-3050721. Paul S. Zeiset (556 Ridge Avenue, Ephrata, Lancaster County, PA 17522) discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in paratransit service, limited to persons whose personal convictions prevent them from owning or operating motor vehicles, from points in the County of Lancaster, to points in Pennsylvania, and return.
A-2024-3050723. Allegheny Black Car Service, LLC (264 Mingo Road, Wexford, Allegheny County, PA 15090) for the discontinuance of service and cancellation of its certificate, to transport, as a common carrier, by motor vehicle, persons in group and party service, in vehicles seating 11 to 15 passengers including the driver, between points in Pennsylvania; excluding service that is under the jurisdiction of the Philadelphia Parking Authority.
