NOTICES

Hartford Insurance Company of the Midwest; Personal Automobile Insurance

   On May 7, 1996, the Insurance Department received from Hartford Insurance Company of the Midwest a filing for a rate level change for personal automobile insurance.

   The company requests an overall 6.5% increase, amounting to $1,160,924 annually, to be effective July 1, 1996.

   Unless formal administrative action is taken prior to October 1, 1996, the subject filing may be deemed approved by operation of law.

   Copies of the filing will be available for public inspection during normal working hours, by appointment, at the Insurance Department's offices in Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh and Erie.

   Interested parties are invited to submit written comments, suggestions or objections to Stephen Kcenich, Actuary, Insurance Department, Office of Rate and Policy Regulation, Bureau of Property and Casualty Insurance, 1311 Strawberry Square, Harrisburg, PA 17120, within 30 days of publication of this notice in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
