With Hearing
[27 Pa.B. 4887] C-00968945. Consolidated Rail Corporation v. City of Reading. A complaint has been made to the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, under the provisions of Public Utility Code, requesting that the Overhead Bridge No. 58.39 carrying Washington Street (592 147 H) over the Harrisburg Line, City of Reading, Berks County, PA has existing storm sewer lines located behind the east and west retaining walls of the bridge which are leaking and depositing a significant amount of water through the retaining walls and onto Conrail property. The water has caused a considerable amount of damage to the retaining walls. A safety concern is the potential for undermining of the retaining walls caused by the water. Complainant wants the respondent to repair the storm sewer lines and retaining walls.
An initial hearing on this matter will be held Tuesday, October 7, 1997, at 10 a.m. in an available hearing room, Ground Floor, North Office Building, North Street and Commonwealth Avenue, Harrisburg, PA, when and where all persons in interest may appear and be heard, if they so desire.
