Commonwealth Approval of Criminal Complaints; No. MC-10-97

Local Rule 107. Approval of Certain Police Complaints by Attorney for the Commonwealth The District Attorney of Adams County having filed a certification pursuant to Pa.R.Crim.P. 107, criminal complaints and arrest warrant affidavits by police officers charging any of the following felony crimes:
a. 18 Pa.C.S. Section 3121--Rape (graded as a felony of the first degree)
b. 18 Pa.C.S. Section 3122.1--Statutory Sexual Assault (graded as a felony of the second degree)
c. 18 Pa.C.S. Section 3123--Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse (graded as a felony of the first degree)
d. 18 Pa.C.S. Section 3124.1--Sexual Assault (graded as a felony of the second degree)
e. 18 Pa.C.S. Section 3125--Aggravated Indecent Assault (graded as a felony of the second degree) shall not hereafter be accepted by an judicial officer unless the complaint and affidavit has the approval of an attorney for the Commonwealth prior to filing.
The effective date of this rule shall be upon conformity with Pa.R.Crim.P. 6.
