Request for Proposals
[28 Pa.B. 6131] Sealed proposals will be received by Jeffrey L. Hess, Purchasing Manager, at the Administration Building, Harrisburg-East Interchange near Highspire, PA (Mailing Address: P. O. Box 67676, Harrisburg, PA 17106-7676) and publicly opened and read at the date and time indicated for the following contract:
Contract No. 89-024-RJ15--Expansion of the Reading Interchange Toll Plaza in Lancaster Co., PA
Bid Opening Date--January 7, 1999, 11 a.m.
Bid Surety--5%
Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents will be available and open for public inspection at the Administration Building. Copies may be purchased upon payment of $40 per set by check or P. O. Money Order (No Cash) payable to the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission, Attention: Secretary-Treasurer's Office, P. O. Box 67676, Harrisburg, PA 17106-7676. No refund for any reason will be made for plans, specifications and contract documents.
A Prequalification Certification and Maximum Capacity Rating assigned by the Prequalification Committee of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation is a necessary prerequisite for bidding on this project.
A prebid meeting conference for the project will be held November 18, 1998, at 10 a.m. The party will meet at the Valley Forge Service Plaza construction site.
