Pennsylvania Wizard of Odds '99 Instant Lottery Game

   Under the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101-- 3761-314), and 61 Pa. Code § 819.203 (relating to notice of instant game rules), the Secretary of Revenue hereby provides public notice of the rules for the following instant lottery game:

   1.  Name: The name of the game is Pennsylvania Wizard of Odds '99.

   2.  Price: The price of a Pennsylvania Wizard of Odds '99 instant lottery game ticket is $1.00.

   3.  Play Symbols: Each Pennsylvania Wizard of Odds '99 instant lottery game ticket will contain one play area featuring one ''Crystal Ball Numbers'' area and one ''Lucky Numbers'' area. The play symbols and their captions located in the ''Crystal Ball Numbers'' area and the ''Lucky Numbers'' area are: 1 (ONE), 2 (TWO), 3 (THR), 4 (FOR), 5 (FIV), 6 (SIX), 7 (SVN), 8 (EGT) and 9 (NIN).

   4.  Prize Play Symbols: The prize play symbols and their captions located in the ''Prize'' area are: $1.00 (ONE DOL), $2.00 (TWO DOL), $4.00 (FOR DOL), $6.00 (SIX DOL), $8.00 (EGT DOL), $12.00 (TWELVE), $16.00 (SIXTEEN), $100 (ONE HUN) and $4,000 (FOR THO).

   5.  Prizes: The prizes that can be won in this game are $1, $2, $4, $6, $8, $12, $16, $100 and $4,000. The player can win up to four times on a ticket.

   6.  Approximate Number of Tickets Printed For the Game: Approximately 9,600,000 tickets will be printed for the Pennsylvania Wizard of Odds '99 instant lottery game.

   7.  Determination of Prize Winners:

   (a)  Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbols matches either of the ''Crystal Ball Numbers'' play symbols and a prize play symbol of $4,000 (FOR THO) appears in the ''Prize'' area under the matching ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $4,000.

   (b)  Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbols matches either of the ''Crystal Ball Numbers'' play symbols and a prize play symbol of $100 (ONE HUN) appears in the ''Prize'' area under the matching ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $100.

   (c)  Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbols matches either of the ''Crystal Ball Numbers'' play symbols and a prize play symbol of $16.00 (SIXTEEN) appears in the ''Prize'' area under the matching ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $16.

   (d)  Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbols matches either of the ''Crystal Ball Numbers'' play symbols and a prize play symbol of $12.00 (TWELVE) appears in the ''Prize'' area under the matching ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $12.

   (e)  Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbols matches either of the ''Crystal Ball Numbers'' play symbols and a prize play symbol of $8.00 (EGT DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under the matching ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $8.

   (f)  Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbols matches either of the ''Crystal Ball Numbers'' play symbols and a prize play symbol of $6.00 (SIX DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under the matching ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $6.

   (g)  Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbols matches either of the ''Crystal Ball Numbers'' play symbols and a prize play symbol of $4.00 (FOR DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under the matching ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $4.

   (h)  Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbols matches either of the ''Crystal Ball Numbers'' play symbols and a prize play symbol of $2.00 (TWO DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under the matching ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $2.

   (i)  Holders of tickets upon which any one of the ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbols matches either of the ''Crystal Ball Numbers'' play symbols and a prize play symbol of $1.00 (ONE DOL) appears in the ''Prize'' area under the matching ''Lucky Numbers'' play symbol, on a single ticket, shall be entitled to a prize of $1.

   8.  Number and Description of Prizes and Approximate Odds: The following table sets forth the approximate number of winners, amounts of prizes, and approximate odds of winning:

   9.  Retailer Incentive Awards: The Lottery may conduct a separate Retailer Incentive Game for retailers who sell Pennsylvania Wizard of Odds '99 instant lottery game tickets. The conduct of the game will be governed by 61 Pa. Code § 819.222 (relating to retailer bonuses and incentives).

   10.  Unclaimed Prize Money: For a period of 1 year from the announced close of Pennsylvania Wizard of Odds '99, prize money from winning Pennsylvania Wizard of Odds '99 instant lottery game tickets will be retained by the Secretary for payment to the persons entitled thereto. If no claim is made within 1 year of the announced close of the Pennsylvania Wizard of Odds '99 instant lottery game, the right of a ticket holder to claim the prize represented by the ticket, if any, will expire and the prize money will be paid into the State Lottery Fund and used for purposes provided for by statute.

   11.  Governing Law: In purchasing a ticket, the customer agrees to comply with and abide by the State Lottery Law (72 P. S. §§ 3761-101--3761-314), the regulations contained in 61 Pa. Code Part V (relating to State Lotteries) and the provisions contained in this notice.

   12.  Termination of the Game: The Secretary may announce a termination date, after which no further tickets from this game may be sold. The announcement will be disseminated through media used to advertise or promote Pennsylvania Wizard of Odds '99 or through normal communications methods.
