   A-110300 F0095 and A-110400 F0040.  GPU, Inc., Metropolitan Edison Company, Pennsylvania Electric Company and FirstEnergy Corporation. Joint application for approval of the merger of GPU, Inc., and its Pennsylvania Public Utility Subsidiaries, Metropolitan Edison Company and Pennsylvania Electric Company, with FirstEnergy Corporation.

   This Application may be considered without a hearing. Protests or petitions to intervene can be filed with the Pennsylvania Public Utility Commission, P. O. Box 3265, Harrisburg, PA 17105-3265, with a copy served on the applicant on or before December 11, 2000, under 52 Pa. Code (relating to public utilities).
