DEPARTMENT OF CONSERVATION AND NATURAL RESOURCES

Proposed Land Exchange; Public Meeting

   A public information meeting will be held at 1 p.m., March 7, 2000, at the Fort Washington State Park office, 500 Bethlehem Pike, Fort Washington, PA 19034-2107. A proposal to exchange 2,268.5-square feet of state park land for 2,504.0 square feet of land owned by William Peter R. Cross in Whitemarsh Township, County of Montgomery, Pennsylvania will be discussed. The proposed exchange will provide for the orderly development of the adjacent Garrison Greene development and state park land.

   Maps of the parcels will be available along with deed descriptions and an exchange briefing paper. A public comment period will be held open for 30 days after the public information meeting. Oral and written comments will become part of the official document used in formulating the Department's position on this proposed transfer. Comments may be sent to Roger Fickes, Director, Bureau of State Parks, Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, P. O. Box 8551, Harrisburg, PA 17105-8551.
